Does the referral code give a free ship?

The standard new-account referral benefit is currency, not a ship. A temporary ship trial, a recruiter milestone and a time-limited referral promotion are different things.

What the new player receives

A valid referral adds the standard 50,000 account UEC benefit. Add the code at registration or within 24 hours on an unlinked new account. Game access needs a Game Package outside public trials. The recruiter’s separate $40 eligible fresh-money spending rule is not a second player-bonus threshold. RSI referral rules.

Account UEC, package UEC and temporary alpha aUEC are different balances. If no previous alpha balance carries over, RSI uses the patch starting amount plus account UEC outside a Game Package; package UEC is excluded. Check your actual wallet before buying equipment. RSI currency rules.

The bonus is not a pledge hull, a package-price reduction or a guarantee that a full equipment kit is affordable at your first landing. Account and alpha currencies explained.

Ships on the recruiter ladder

The person sharing a code can earn milestone rewards from qualifying recruits. Those rewards do not become a new user’s starter ship. Read the recruiter reward ladder for the recipient and conditions.

Temporary trials and special promotions

A confirmed public Free Fly allows its eligible audience to use the announced roster temporarily. A mission rental may require existing game access. Neither establishes permanent ownership.

RSI sometimes runs separate referral incentives with a ship for both players. Only the current official event terms establish the item, account eligibility, required spending, deadline and delivery. Do not apply an old event’s conditions to a new account today.

Before paying

Choose a Game Package for the access and contents you actually want. Do not increase spending to pursue an unconfirmed reward.
