What the new player gets
The standard benefit is 50,000 UEC in account UEC, not a checkout discount. Alpha uses a separate, temporary aUEC wallet; its starting balance and carry-over depend on the patch. This is not a promise of a full equipment kit or an immediately credited wallet. How account UEC and alpha credits differ. RSI currency definitions
What the referrer earns: the recruitment ladder
Each qualified recruit is one point. Points unlock cosmetic items at the low tiers and flyable ships at the milestones below. This is the referrer side, you do not need any of this as a new player, it just explains the incentive.
| Flyable-ship milestone | Recruits needed |
|---|---|
| Aegis Gladius | 42 recruits |
| MISC Raptor | 50 recruits |
| Tumbril Storm | 75 recruits |
| Freelancer MAX | 100 recruits |
| Esperia Stinger | 200 recruits |
| Vanduul Scythe | 500 recruits |
| Idris-M | 1,042 recruits |
Below the ship tiers are cosmetic rewards (armor, weapons, decorations) starting at a single recruit. The top tier, the Idris-M frigate, sits at 1,042 recruits. Reaching the lower ship tiers is realistic, the top is a long-haul community effort.
The separate recruiter qualification
For a Recruitment Point, the referred account must own a Game Package and reach $40 USD in eligible fresh-money spending across the pledge store. Store credit and gifted pledges do not count. This recruiter rule is separate from the standard new-account benefit; it is not a requirement to buy one particular $40+ item.
