How to use a Star Citizen referral code
The auto-apply link, the manual field, and the 24 hour recovery path. RSI referral conditions

Two ways to enter STAR-JTV7-FXLR: the one-click auto-fill link, or typing it into the field. Here is exactly what to do, plus the fix if you already made your account.
Method 1: the auto-apply link (easiest)
- Open the pre-filled link
Click robertsspaceindustries.com/enlist?referral=STAR-JTV7-FXLR. The Referral Code (optional) field fills itself with STAR-JTV7-FXLR. Note: this link is meant for brand new visitors; an already logged-in account may be redirected to the RSI homepage.
- Create your account
Account name, email, password, date of birth, accept the Terms, click Enlist Now.
- Buy a Game Package
The 50,000 UEC credits after the purchase clears. The Citizen Starter Pack at $45 is the cheapest that qualifies.
Method 2: type it in manually
- Go to the enlist page

Type or paste the full code with both dashes, then double-check the field before continuing.
- Finish and choose a Game Package for game access
Same as above. The bonus is in-game currency, added on top of the package.
Missed the field? The 24 hour recovery path
If you already created the account without a code, you have a 24 hour grace period. Sign in at robertsspaceindustries.com, open the account menu, find Referral Rewards, paste STAR-JTV7-FXLR and confirm. After 24 hours the option is gone and support does not reopen it, and once an account is linked to a referrer it cannot be changed.
If the bonus does not show up
The account bonus and the referrer’s spending qualification are separate. RSI notes that a code added during the 24-hour grace period can take longer to affect in-game aUEC. Check the account association and currency rules before treating a wallet display as proof of a missing bonus.

My referral bonus did not appear, what now?
The standard referral reward is 50,000 account UEC for a new account registered with a valid code. Game access requires a Game Package outside public trials. The separate $40 USD fresh-money spending rule determines the referrer’s Recruitment Point, not a different signup bonus. Alpha aUEC crediting can be delayed when a code is added later.
