Star Citizen Carrack

Carrack role, variants and buying considerations. Check the source-dated RSI specifications before choosing a hull.

The Anvil Carrack is one of the most loved ships in Star Citizen: a large, multi-crew vessel built for long-range exploration and self-sufficiency on the frontier.

What it is

Designed for deep exploration, the Carrack is a self-sufficient expedition ship with room for a crew, a docked rover for ground exploration, and onboard facilities for long journeys away from civilisation. It is an endgame-feeling ship people aspire to.

Who it is for

Players who love exploration, charting unknown space, and operating self-sufficiently with friends. It is an aspiration ship, not a starter, the kind of vessel you build toward over time.

Ask which expedition tasks your crew wants

The Carrack is an Anvil expedition ship. An expedition plan should specify what your group will do between departure and return, including support and travel. Check which exploration and onboard systems are implemented rather than equating a long list of advertised facilities with current gameplay.

Alternative exploration layout. These are buying considerations based on intended roles, not measured flight-test results.

Check the source-dated RSI specifications below for variants and production status. In-game purchase and rental availability need a separate check. For first-time access, choose a Game Package; standalone ships do not include the game licence.
