Star Citizen Kraken

The Drake Kraken is a capital carrier: a vast ship with multiple hangar bays to launch and service a squadron of smaller craft, effectively a mobile home base.

What it is

It is a fleet enabler. The Kraken carries, repairs and rearms other ships, letting an organisation project power far from home with a crew to run it.

Who it is for

Organisations that operate as a group and want a mobile carrier hub. A capital-scale, long-term goal ship, not a starter.

Treat the carrier as infrastructure

A carrier needs a purpose for the ships it supports. Decide which group will use it, what they intend to fly and which carrier variant is being offered. An industrial or fleet-support plan is more useful than a comparison based only on dimensions. Advertised repair or rearming roles must be checked against implemented features.
